FAQ

TRIP PRICES INCLUDE
Our trip packages include motorcoach transportation to destination(s) listed in the trip description on your booking confirmation and on our trip itinerary.  Our multiple day trip packages include hotel and motel lodging for overnight locations on our trip itinerary.  Unless otherwise noted on your booking confirmation and trip description, our trips do not include meals.  Generally, any tours, tourguides, admission fees for attractions and sightseeing venues that are specified in our trip descriptions as group activities will be included in your trip package--these included items will be noted on your booking confirmation.  Items of a personal nature such as room service, laundry charges, telephone and movie charges, room service and alcoholic beverages are not included in our trip packages.

SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted on the motorcoach.  We will be making stops throughout the day for those who wish to smoke.

BAGGAGE
Unless specially noted, on most trips under 7 days in length, guests are permitted to bring 1 piece of luggage and 1 carry-on per person.  Generally, we permit guests to bring 2 pieces of baggage and 1 carry-on per person on trips longer than 7 days in length, however this allowance may be lowered for trips which have high attendence.  Travel Crazy assumes no responsibility for baggage damage or loss of baggage.

GUESTS REQUIRING SPECIAL NEEDS
All guests having special needs should be accompanied by adequate and fitted companions.  Guests must inform us of special needs and requests when a reservation is made.  We will attempt to support reasonable requests and facilitate special needs, however Travel Crazy cannot be responsible for denial of services or the inability to provide special services furnished by carriers, hotels, entertainment suppliers or events.  Though our hosts will be respectful and considerate of those with special needs, we cannot provide assistance for basic functions such as walking and dining.

MINORS
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

REST AREAS
On average, we have a tendency to have a rest stop of some sort once every 2 hours.

MEAL STOPS AND RESTAURANTS
Meals are not included in your trip package unless specified in your trip itinerary AND listed on the trip description on your booking confirmation.  Keeping our guests' need for access to restaurant(s), the majority of the hotels we use will either have a restaurant or will be within short walking distance of a restaurant(s).  If not, we make available a scheduled departure for a local restaurant(s).

During travel days that require 2 en route meal stops, we have a tendency to have one sit-down meal stop and one fast food restaurant stop.  All en route meal stops are at moderately priced restaurants.

GRATUITIES
It is Travel Crazy's policy that attendants not accept tips.  You may tip our driver, if you wish, but only on an individual basis.  We will not Pass the Hat for Driver Tip.  Generally, satisfied clients will tip their driver at the end of their trip as he is assisting them off the motorcoach or helping them retrieve their baggage.  Industry norm is $1 per day.

Travel Crazy does not include Tips to Housekeepers in its trip packages.  Though we aren't instructing our guests to tip housekeepers, industry norm is 50 cents per occupant per night.

Generally, Travel Crazy does not include Tips to local step-on guides.  If you feel a step-on guide enhanced your visit to a city during a guided tour, you might wish to tip him.  Industry norm is $1.

When a meal is included in your trip package, gratuity for the server is also included in your trip package.  When a meal is not included in your trip package, the tip for that meal, of course, is not included in your trip package.  Industry norm is 18% for very good service.

REFUNDS
We process refunds once a month.  If you have cancelled a trip and have not received your refund within 30 days, please contact our office.

TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations for most of our trips may be cancelled up to 1 month prior to departure without penalty.  Some trips featuring sporting events, cruise accommodations, extended trip lengths and airline transport require 2 month notice prior to departure date for cancellation without penalty.  On rare occassions, a trip may require 3 months prior notice.
Your booking confirmation will very clearly outline cancellation dates as well as the cancellation policy for the specific trip you have booked.
Generally, trips requiring a 1-month cancellation have the following policy:
More than 1 month notice = full refund
15 days to 30 days notice = approximately 10% cancellation fee
8 days to 14 days notice = 50% forfeiture of deposits received
7 days or less notice = Total forfeiture of deposits received

Generally, trips requiring a 2-month cancellation have the following policy:
More than 2 month notice = full refund
31 to 60 days notice = approximately 10% cancellation fee
15 days to 30 days notice = 50% forfeiture of deposits received
14 days or less notice = Total forfeiture of deposits received
When mailing a booking confirmation to a client for a trip over $199, we enclose a brochure from Travelex, offering trip cancellation insurance.
