St. Charles & Missouri River Wineries
May 21 - 24, 2112

We’re headed to Missouri to get a taste of the Wine Country along the Missouri River.  We’ll be visiting 4 wineries each of 2 days spent following along the “Mighty Mo”.

During our 4-day/3-night trip, we will be utilizing hotel accommodations in Historic St. Charles.  In addition to having the distinction of being the oldest town on the Missouri River, St. Charles also boasts the largest Historic District in the state of Missouri.

More than 125 one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants dot the district, and brick-lined sidewalks and gas lamps entice visitors to imagine they are stepping back in time.

And there’s an added bonus of 2 wineries on Main Street for you to visit at your leisure.

In addition to being able to walk to a vast assortment of shops and restaurants, the casino in  St. Charles is also within walking distance of our hotel.   A shuttle is also available.  This makes the town a wonderful home base during our winery explorations.

The highlight of our trip may very well be our visit to the magnificent Missouri Botanical Garden, rated among the very best in the United States.  We've purposely scheduled this trip for a time that, with a little luck, will allow us to anticipate magnificent bursts of color throughout the various gardens that make up the park.

You'll have  tickets to allow you to use the tram to get around the park and meal vouchers  so you can enjoy lunch at your leisure at the Sassafras Restaurant in the gardens.

This brand new Travel Crazy trip is going to be a lot of fun, and perfect for groups looking for a short Springtime Excursion.  Make your plans early to join us!

Classic New York
June 25 - 29, 2012
New York is a hot destination.  Join Travel Crazy as we take a bite out of The Big Apple.

After an overnight stay in Pennsylvania, our welcome to New York will be similar to that of early immigrants.  We will motorcoach from Pennsylvania to Liberty State Park (in New Jersey), where boarding a ferryboat, we will visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.  Afterward, another ferry will bring us into Battery Park and the lower tip of Manhattan Island.  What a way to enter New York City for the first time!

Our Theater District Hotel Accommodations will provide easy access to most Manhattan theaters and the glitz and excitement of Times Square!

The following day, we will be joined by a knowledgeable guide for a full day of sightseeing in America's most exciting city.  Tour highlights will include extended stops at Ground Zero, the Empire State Building, Chinatown and Little Italy

In the evening, we will be whisked away into the spellbinding world of Broadway as we attend a Broadway Show (show selection not determined yet).

Our final day in New York will take us on a pleasant walking tour through Central Park, followed by a luncheon at a popular Manhattan restaurant. What a Grand Finale' to our visit in New York!

After overnighting in Somerset, PA, we will visit the Flight 93 Memorial.  Though not completely finished yet, visiting this memorial is a stirring event you will never forget.

After our stop at the Memorial, we head back to Kentucky.
