Catfan Caravan - Champions Classic in New York City
There’s a lot of anticipation for this new Travel Crazy trip to the first Champions Classic in New York City. The Classic pits four of College Basketball’s biggest names. Kentucky squares off against our old nemesis Kansas and Duke takes on the Spartans of Michigan State.
This special Catfan Caravan trip to New York City begins with an overnight stay in Pennsylvania. Then, we’ll continue our drive to The Big Apple, arriving midday.
Our Caravaners have spoken and we've responded by expanding our stay in NYC to three nights, affording you a full “free day” in the Big Apple.
But never fear, we’ll still provide those Travel Crazy touches to enhance your New York visit. We’ll visit Chinatown and Little Italy for a bit of early Christmas shopping, see what it’s like to be on “Top of the Roc”, get our “kicks” at Radio City Music Hall, and do some touring of Manhattan that is more attuned to returning visitors.
This year is the 10th Anniversary of 9-11, and we’ll be stopping at the new WTC Memorial park for a memorable tour.
We’ll top off our Big Apple visit with an evening of thrilling Big Blue action as we attend the double-header at Madison Square Garden.
Following our time in New York, we’ll begin to head back to Kentucky, overnighting in Pennsylvania once more along the way.
$1199.00 per person (based on double occupancy)
Includes: motorcoach transportation, 5 nights hotel accommodations ( 3 in Manhattan, just a half a block from Times Square), ticket to the Champions Classic, guided tour of NYC, admission to the NBC Studio tour, admission to the top of the Rock, and ticket for Rockettes show at Radio City Music Hall.
